Anthony Mak
Hi guys, I'm working on my hamstring flexibility with a couple of techniques such as the weighted standing pike, seated static. When I'm sat in a pike I understand I need to keep my back flat by rolling my pelvis forward. If i sit upright in an L-sit type shape I can do this but after 10/20 seconds I feel my hip flexors working hard in order to keep that position. If I'm struggling to keep my pelvis rolled forward when sat upright I guess it can't be doing much good reaching for my toes as my back will be rounded the whole time. Are there stretches I can do to increase the flexibility of my hips to make it easier to roll my pelvis forward? Thanks.
