Hello riccardos93, welcome aboard.

Your headstand looks a little weird, your cervical spine (your neck) is crushed to the ground and in an improper angle; you can injured yourself doing this. The model on HS1 has straight neck even he's using his forehead to support. You've to aim to do it with straight neck. I preffer use the crane of my head to support, but I think it depends of preferences.

Same things for the rest of your body, you're piking at the hips and you look like a little "curved" and not straight and with tension as a HS should be. You've to remember that the first elements even not "complicated" are there to create proper form and tension from the beginning.

Abour your iM, some things:

1) You've to put some weight to the bar, even 500gr. Doing the element with weights as without weight its different worlds. Use weights.

2) I think your grip its so narrow for your current level. Try to progress from a more wider grip.

3) You lift the bar so fast using momentum, and its not like that. Lift slow, feel the movement, hold slow.

4) You curve your spine when the bar is lifted, and this can't occur in any case. You curve your spine for the sum of previous points: narrow grip, speed at lifting the bar and improper form of the spine.

Solutions:

Go and check again the HS1 athlete in this iM. See how he lift the bar while maintain a straight back. When you lift the bar the rest of your body its a line, and not go forward in any case.

Hope it helps.

first of all thanks for your reply....it helps me a lot to see my mistakes!!! :)

as you, i notice that my neck isn't properly place...in the next workout i will try to use my crane as support!!

for the rest of my body how can i do to be straight??

About the IM this is the second time that i do it so i prefer to do it without weight...next week i will try it with some...how much weight do i have to use for consider mastered this element??

another time sorry for my bad english  :D

Federico

Hi, I'm italian too and I'll try to explain what's wrong in our language!

You're too arch with your back while you hold that position and you lose the hollow, which you should strive for. It could help trying to immagine to close your pelvis toward your navel. Before this you should fix your head placement and neck position, because the back will follow the line of your neck. So if you have an arch neck, so the back, if you have a straight neck, you can immagine.

For the iM, you try to reach the position leaning forward. If you see the video in HS course, you'll see the athlete keep his torso straight while raise the bar, this is what you should strive for, with appropriate training. Slowly you'll increase your ROM and you will add up weight to the bar and narrower the hands. My suggestion is not to try to reach the position bouncing and sprinting, but slowly and smoothly with the bar under control and to add a little weight, maybe 1-2 kg.

Hope to be of any help!

Federico

E' forte aver trovato un altro italiano, keep pushing man! ;)

Ok, you should to these easy steps:

1) Place the head on the ground, your crane should touch the ground.

2) Your neck should be straight and neutral.

3) You go on a headstand, once there you start seeking ACTIVELY the hollow position (I suppose It's hard to find it when you're on the ground)

4) Once you can feel that position, so that you have a nice straight, long line from your neck to your toes, you start keep everything tight actively. It's easy to lose it at the beginning if you don't try hard to keep everything right.

5) Go down and do the iM.

This should be work!

However, I'm not an instructor or a certificate of any kind, just my knowledge, research on the forum and will to emulate the guy in the video. Hope not to say anything wrong.
