This is the Straddle Planche stuff.

sPL PE1 Scapular Shrugs

sPL PE1>iM Swivel Hips

Is my body straight enough in the scap shrugs? My upper back seems tight. Swivel hips have could a LONG way. Does my breathing bother you?

the scap pushups look good, i'd say about the only thing needing editing there would be the neck bobbing movement, it's something i also do from time to time but wouldn't want to strain your neck or make your body sag in the middle from "looking for depth"

your tempo looks good, just focus on that protraction

as for the swivel hips, the internal rotation is sweet on your left leg, right leg is right behind it (are you right handed? or if you skate or surf, are you a regular? :P)

Looking good - just the bobbing of the head that KG mentioned already. :)

Really? I would have said that a little bit more up in the shrugs.

My current scapular mobility restricts any additional ROM in the protraction phase. Is more needed for mastery?

I am right-handed and do most of my one-legged jumping off my left leg. My leg left is a bit longer, has much better overall glute activation and development, has never had an ankle sprain and, incidentally, can internally rotate much more effectively. I can grab a basketball rim easily jumping off my left leg but can barely touch the bottom of the rim off my right, in addition to the incredible awkwardness of jumping off my right.

Not shure. Have to wait for the wise ones :) in the video there is bigger ROM in my opinion

as for the protraction in the scap pushups, just go for maximum contraction :) you're doing great, you just want to keep strengthening it

as for the discrepency between legs, just keep going as you are, eventually farther up in the SLS progressions they'll balance out since you'll be alternating legs and using both equally in the SLS pe's :) I started out with my right leg sucked in and shorter than my left and its getting sorted out

KeilaniG. What about the mastery level. Shoud it be maximum or same as in the video?

Coach said to focus on protraction, so that's what im doing while i control my body line and not let it sag. everyone will look different when maximally contracted, but the key markers will be the same (rounded upper back) so just push that ground away :P
