Strange problem with ABH

On Tuesday this week i was doing my exercise ABH went very nicely almost without shakes for the planned 4 x 36s. Afterwards doing the deck squats i felt my back a bit sore. Next day i stretched some and the back felt better.

Today i tried to do the same workout again and for my surprise am unable to raise my thighs from the ground doing abh. I mean that it's simply not just hard, it just doesn't happen. the back is still a bit sore but not stiff nor is actually painful. Chest rises very nicely from the ground but the thighs stay in the ground... Any ideas what the h*** happened?

Oh and to add though i had some probs with abh in the beginning haven't really had any probs with it lately. as i said i'm even finally progressing quite finely without shakes etc.

Could be you're just not recovered and too tired. See if it continues after a day or two.

That's what i thought. Strange tho as havenät had the same problem before.

i'm bit suspectin that my hip flexors and thighs are quite tight as well and do not allow this movements... Oh and now doing bit more testing i noticed that i can also get pain in the back trying it. so guess it might be a combination of tight thigh+hip flexors combined with very tired back.

Seems like you should try to stretch and rest some then.

Guess so. This just baffled me a lot. the legs just do not raise at all... Oh well maybe next week then.

Your glutes may still have yet to recover (which would explain why you can lift your chest but not your legs.

Aaa glutes, hmm might be, i was thinking of more of the lower back muscles or just the tightness of thighs (both hamstring and front) but that would explain why it is so easy to rise chest bu legs just don't rise AND why it started to feel while doing squats.
