Hey folks,

i have a little bit of a problem understanding the technique of skiers correctly. Indeed i think it's a pretty technical move.

is it correct that our whole body turn 45 degrees with exception of the feet? so even our knees,

altough kept together, will face 45 degrees at the bottom of the movement?

i hope it's clear what i mean. if not feel free to ask. i just don't think i really performing this exercice correctly...

Thanks in advance

Stand with feet together, flat on the ground & keep them there at all times.

Push your butt backwards and sideways until it is at the level of your knees

get back up and repeat on the other side

There is no 45 degrees requirement, you can also do them when it is colder

I don't know how you always spot things like that. +1

haha thx!

So you are saying that only the feet should point forwards at all the time. knees are allowed to turn together with the rest of the body right?

EDIT: ok i modified my technique allowing my knees to turn and noticed that they feel alot better.

Damn did two mini cycles with wrong technique...

Yup, you're doing it right now. The video shows the athlete allowing his knees to turn alongside he s body.

yes. the statement "keep the knees stationary" just lead me to believe to try to not turn them.

nevertheless thx for the input.
