Tucked Handstand

I have been working on my tucked handstand position and was looking for some feedback in regards to the hip movement. I think I am finally feeling the hips/butt go back as the shoulders push hard in the opposite direction to open when lowering to tuck. My main question is does this look correct and if so is the hip movement the same that should be used when doing press to handstands (straddled or piked)?

- Well done.  Your bodyline is coming along nicely.

- Note that for the majority of the descent, your feet are too far in front of the glutes.  It is most efficient keeping the feet directly over the top of the glutes for as long as possible.

Your course has done amazing things to my shoulders! And copy that on keeping the feet over the glutes. Thanks for the advice and thanks for your material, it's second to none!

Nice line!

It has definitely improved since my visit(it was still pretty good before then).

You have done a good job not letting your feet to past your hands.  You could still open your shoulders even more as you're breaking at the hips.

The movement will be similar in a pike press to maintain shoulders open as long as possible.  In a straddle it is usually not as prevalent but that all depends on how wide you can spread your legs.
