Combining F1+F2 Questions

So i've been at F1 for about 4 months now and have progressed slowly but steadily. Definitely enjoying the journey, however, i have some questions regarding programming.

I currently have the following schedule combining F1+H1:

Monday-F1

Tuesday-Off/Mobility-Dynamic Stretch

Wednesday-H1

Thursday-Off/Mobility-Dynamic Stretch

Friday-F1

Saturday-Hard Stretch/Ag Walks/Locomotion and Light Plyo Work

Sunday-Off

My question is that as i'm progressing with the skills i'm starting to plateau on some of the skills. Would it be prudent to try and play around with the higher level progressions on one day, for example, do some F2 progressions on Monday and F1 progressions on friday or should i add another day of F1 to increase the volume to get over the plateau? I feel at this point that my conditioning has been much improved, but my strength isn't getting much better, thus my query about injecting some of the higher level/higher tension skills at least one day a week without overdoing it. I know that the point is to lay a foundation and i want to do this right, but i wondered if anyone has played around with tap-dancing into the higher levels of skills while still spending the bulk of time working on their current skill level.

Any thoughts would be great, Thanks.

ever since Jan, i was realizing a pretty advanced routine for my level. i worked out 3 days a week, i did a press, pull, core, lower body type of deal.

let's only talk press and core.

I was doing hanging leg raises, supine windshield wipers, arch ups and ring pushups, ring pushups, ring dips and starting to do static wall handstand days and wallrun days.

mind you, i had never done this type of work or anything like it, so my body had a sudden burst of neurological and physical strength.

then i started to feel funny, especially in the shoulders, not quite tight, not quite loose, kind of tired but still had energy.

this is here my body started saying "no" to the training. after three weeks. funny enough, i had read somewhere on this site, which linked me to another site where it talked about tendon health adaptation and knowing if your workout was too low in difficulty, high in difficulty or just right.

make an experiment in this order: check your nutrition(are you eating enough?), your sleeping(too little? are you not sleeping deeply?), stress levels(are you having a bad time or is there somethin internally bothering you?) check those first, then go about re-testing mastery.

edit: also, it'll be of use to mention that before, i could not do body lever negatives of any sort(I tried doing some negative dragon flags before F1)

I worked upto doing at least 2 10 sec controlled body lever negatives after only working PE1.

trust the foundation, man. you don't throw the paint before you put the bricks :)

My thoughts are no, that would absolutely not be prudent.

I think you are cheating yourself out of a lot if you are going to reinforce your own thing on harder exercises over training good habits from the bottom. If you're restless go ahead and dabble, but its.my opinion you should not make it a regular thing, and you should.definitely not run an advanced and basic schedule side by side.

Addendum-- if you're restless i would rather you added another F1 day than try to get too creative, if it were me.

You may 'play' with more advanced progressions after your regular F1 workout, but they should definitely NOT be a part of your structured training.

Great points, thank you for the perspective/clarity! i'll keep plugging away at it.
