after 4 months and half playing with the IM of PE6, i moved to the next element (yes 4 moths and half for one element!!!)

my handstand was good before but seriously maintain the current hs hold and work on mobility increased a lot the alignment and seems that, as the mobility improve, i can move the entire arms in line with the upper/medium/lower back line..

now i have a doubt concerned with IM/PE7, i can't have an answer from the video of the course.

the lower back must be flat or must be arched? or is not important?

i noticed that is easier do that movement with lower back arched..my video is only demostrative...

i supposed that this movement must have some transfer over the shoulders opening in hs position..so i thought that use the same body line wasn't a bad thing to do.

can someone clarify that?

thanks

- Your form is fine.

- However do not do this iM with only a wooden dowel.   Using a weighted bar (if only for 1 kilogram) is necessary to correctly fire the shoulder girdle.

For example, the athlete in the demo video is using 20lbs.

An ankle weight or small weight plate on the bar will suffice as a weighted bar.

ok ok, was just to clarify that, usually i use a barbell of 8 kg..
