Hey everyone!

I have a question regarding sPL/PE1 (Scapular Shrugs) and sPL/PE1<iM1 (Swifel Hips).

1) Can you tell me if the shoulders should be depressed alle the way while performing Scapular

Shrugs? Should i let them neutreal? Slightly elevated?

I found out if i do not concentrate about shoulder postition at all, my shoulders are depressed at

the beginning of the move (and protracted) and at the end they are raised to my ears.

i figured that this would be wrong and we should depress the shoulders all the time and only go

from protraction to retraction. I tried it and felt a snap paired with a sharp pain in my right shoulder while retracting. in fact is my right shoulder very tight what i hope to address with h1.

so should we depress all the time?

2) For my the Swifel Hips are the best exercise in the entire F1. In fact i would say i am way to strong for my poor immobility and that's why i get injured all the time. So i'm really thankfull for all the immobility exercices in the course. The hips combined with the iliopsoas muscle are my main problem. in fact my hips are so tight, that it's really difficult for me to just sit into the starting pose.

So i have a few questions regarding swifel hips:

a) how widley spread apart should my feet be? if i start the motion it's pretty damn hard for me to maintance the same with all the time. my feet just want to narrow. But i guess i should maintance

the same width all the time right?

b ) Should i hollow my body while doing the movement?

c) Should my knees point completly upward at the beginning or slightly inwards/outwards.

Yes i tend to overthink things....^^

Yes... B)

Focus on moving the scapulae from retracted to protracted while doing your best to keep them depressed & your arms straight. :)
