today was a great day for me as a beginner gymnast. In milan there was a gymnastic workshop where the teacher was Matteo Morandi. with great surprise (i was here only to help him in assisting participants)
he used me to teach some movements while i was demonstrating them (i.e. str planche, pullup, handstand) and was a great opportunity to learn the details that are so important for an olympic gymnast.
i notice from his teaching an impressive attention for the mobility of shoulders and for the legs. he has big muscles but is so flexible. he can do dislocation about 2-3 cm more then shoulders distance, wall hs with hands at 2 cm from the wall etc.
his preparation and strength is so amazing...at the end of the workshop he said ,under our request
, "i'll show you something on rings, but i don't have time to warm up". seriously he didn't any type of warm up, he jumped on the rings and then...
