Tuck up

When I do the mn/pe1 the end position is on my tailbone with my knees tucked to my chest. Is this correct? It looks like the athlete demonstrating it in f1, but im afraid repeating this movement will put undue pressure on my lumbar? It just feels wrong.

Edit: Sorry, posted this in the wrong forum :(

if you film yourself, the points you need can be easily given. :)

what helped me was PPT whilst on the floor, and going up as equally as possible and "flexing" at the top for a moment and then equally drop back down, touch ground with legs, and arms(if mobility permits) and rinse and repeat towards mastery.

but seriously though, if a picture is worth a thousand words, how invaluable is a video? if you have a laptop or a smart phone even, i'd recommend this.

Same. This bothered me a little at first too, get that strong PPT action you use if FL hollow progressions and it'll clear up.

Im gonna find something to film with :) What is ppt?

Thanks for taking your time to answer, much appreciated.

Posterior pelvic tilt. You know how, when lying on your back for FL PE's, you need to point your hips downwards to get your lower back on the floor? It's that.

Aha! I didn't know what the letters stood for, thanks for clearing that up. I'll test it today. Which part of your lower back is in contact with the floor when in the end position? :)

Frankly, hips up to shoulders flush against the ground.
