Wife wants in, too!

SO, I can't stop talking about this programming, so my wife finally says, "I'll do it too!"

Now, she's a pretty accomplished gymnast (high school level), so now, even at 30 years old, she'll be pretty far along in the programming.

Couple questions on her behalf:

1)  is this program appropriate for females?

2)  she presently practices Silks once per week (which, as you know, is pretty circus rope climbing ;), how would she/ could she modify her programming of foundation one to meet the demands of a 1x per week intense silks session?

Thanks all!

1. Yes.

2. Given her background, she's probably fine with combining the two. To be safe, don't start at the highest level of volume.

She should start with the beginning progressions and, if she tests out of them, she should do them for a few weeks (at least 2-3 weeks) at week 11 before moving to the next.

As ridiculous as this may sound, I am doing this and it helps. She may feel that this is a waste of her time, and if so then at least make sure she starts at week 1 on everything that she doesn't test out of.

The 4 day schedule will almost certainly allow her to do a hard silks session without any issues, just figure out where to put the workouts so that she feels her best on silks (if that's her main thing).

I will give her this info.  Thanks for the help.  She's excited to find a program that will help her strength and mobility as it relates to circus work.
