in the first video there is my current approach to RC, i moved into the more difficult stage after completing the 6 mt climb using the distance elbow-hand during the climbing.
The only thing i hate of that is that there are more pieces of skin on the rope than on the hand.
(watch in hd)
here there are 2 different photos about my straddle planche.
the first one is from the beginning of november 2012. Was before the finland seminar.
the second one is about 4 months after the seminar and the new mobility elements inserted in the routine , that now are proposed into foundation One course.
the biggest difference i noticed was not in the strength improvements but in the quality of movement, in the way i use to reach the straddle planche and in the difficulty to reach it.
Approach the straddle planche with zero hips mobility forced me to extend and open the legs down and after lift them up, but during this motion i was using to much energy to counter balance the lifting movement and i was using the lower back. And sometime i used to lift up the butt in order to lift up the legs and in the 100% of the cases the hips are closed.
IM exercises unlocked my hips so that now i can extend the legs directly parallel to the ground without spent to much energy. Of course lot of work is needed, especially to open more the legs.
Actually i'm not increasing the hold over 4-5 seconds but only the IM.

I didn't recognize the utility of mobility until the result coming out! and that after more then 4 months.
