Joseph Blazuk
Are your hips supposed to be externally rotated in a straddle position (as in planche... are toes out to the side or down?) Does it matter?
Coach Sommer
In straddle work the hips will always be externally rotated. Yours in Fitness,Coach Sommer
Joshua Naterman
If you're internally rotated, you'll have the axis of the neck of the femur pretty off-center from the center of the acetabulum, particularly as you compress into a straddle pike, and can injure yourself.
