after months and months of work the standing press to hs is better, and i got the stalder negative (was my first attempt at the end of training, maybe with more stretch and learning the movement i'll improve it)

i did it on 2 mats with and aid of 2.0 cm , but i can easily do it on the normal floor.

i'm convinced always more that there are not real body structure problems for the 90% of the skills...

Darn! There goes 87.14% of my excuses!

Those are not too bad. The lean on the press is acceptable and will improve with time. At this point, the current limitations you have when it comes to compression/active flex are best dealt with through regular practice of the press. Of course both passive and active flex work will help as well.

Other than that you should keep working your general handstand. Make it ROCK solid and easy to hold on every try. When you press up, do not consider yourself finished before you are in good position and in full control.

For the stalder press, one of the best things you can do from your current level is to slowly start to increase the ROM from which you can press by doing a negative from handstand. You go as far down as you can while still being able to press up again. In the beginning you mihgt only be able to go a couple of inches beyond 90 degrees but you build ROM as you get stronger. Also work more on your straddle L and try to press as high as you can from it.

thanks handbalancer...for the handstand is not a problem for me, was just a chance that i did one step forward. i can hold it for 2 minutes on the floor. i did what coach said..no press before 2 minutes hs on the floor.

as my work over compression increase in quality, both active and passive , the leaning is reduced.

i hate straddle L really , i got great improvements during the last 3 months. little by little  ;)
