all D values are quite same as it goes for difficulty. maybe a straight pull up is a bit more difficult to do. This is just a matter of a personal preferences. C and B value croses are alot easier to learn, but you accomplishe all, it's all the same (just slight diffrences)...

In response to Blairbob,

I would like to know this as well. And I have seen people do the Azarian to support but they really whip it around fast.

Like in this video

Thanks,

Ricky

This is more like back roll to support with wide straight arms and lower to cross. The real azarian is like the pro's are doing it.

I would recomend you doing azarian when you have solid cross (it's not safe if you are not strong enough).

Gregor,

My coach doesn't really have any long term goals for any of his athletes.

It is up to us to take the initiative to develop strength outside of simple push-ups and pull-ups.

He is willing to spot me on crosses(mine is coming along quite nicely since we have started).

But I'm wondering, when should someone start training for inverted crosses, maltese, and victorian?

After your crosses are solid you can go on inverted or on maltese. Why do you want to train on victorian?????? The only one in the world who is doing it is Rodrigues from France.

I've seen a victorian done by a few guys in NCAA.

It seems like it's a slowly emerging skill. I think that it will become more common place in years to come.

Thanks for the tips. =]

maybe in ten years time,...HOwt did they look like (I mean victorians). And it's god damn hard element, it's not coinsident that only Rodrigues has solid victorian.

It's been a while since I've seen them, but they were a little low and about 10 degrees from horizontal.

10° is best Roudrigues performance  I doubt it, 10°is only 0,1 deduction.

Ah! That is one that I was referring to. You're right Gregor, it is quite a lot more than [degrees]10[/degrees].

My bad.

After some time:

1.Azarian press to inverted (D version)is solid and quite easy now

2.Azarian press to inverted E version not solid yet

3.maltese press to inverted not solid yet (lately more I spend more time on azarian to inverted, because I can faster incorporate in to routine)

4.after long time no training on "azarian-maltese" (directly to maltese from hang so basicly back roll to maltese from hang) F version  peace of cake, no deduction just perfect!

5.Third at international competition on rings last week (I should placed higher).

That's the way to get some, Gregor.

Haven't checked this thread for awhile.

Cool, but bent arms on cross and maltese besides being too high on cross, kudos but got some refining to do. Not that I'm anywhere near this.

Derman looks bigger than Rodriguez, but I'm not sure. His is definitely not as good.

Very low scores on rings (very very easy to get in finals  ) on world cup in Montreal. I was waiting to see what will be new A (E)scores, but I guess we must wait for next world cup to get better A (E) scores.

Hey Gregor it's always cool to check this thread, congratulations on your achievement(s)! I was wondering since you are going to world cups if you are coming to the one in Doha aswell? think its sometime in april.

EDIT: they changed it AGAIN :x so it's now in september..

It's hard to get in to team, because we have enough specialists. We'll see, I can't tell you anything ...I'll know at the last moment where and when I'll go...

My goals:

1.at the end of May  start score 6,6

2.at the begining of December  start cscore 6,9

3.To compeet at two world cup's this year (I want to be in one finales).

4.To be second time in a row a Cup champion and national champion.

Not so strong as Friday. I noticed I am always stronger on Friday then on Monday, I gues one day off more from strength training does make a diffrence.

I will be first subbstitute at the world cup in Maribor, oh well not in team but better then nothing.

I noticed my biceps work alot more on the back roll to maltese ( F ) the in other elements....
