Intermittent Fasting - any experiences?

No, I haven't. It makes sense. Mon-Wed-Fri as MB recommends would allow for a heavy/light/heavy/light/heavy/light/light routine which would work very well, I expect.

With the necessary work capacity and proper nutrition, working out 4-6 days a week is possible following an intermittent fasting routine. But if either of those two variables are off it could obviously be a train wreck.

Hi,

Does anybody have experience with Intermittent Fasting following a protocol like those suggested at Leansgains.com?

Example:

16 hours of fast.

All food is eaten within 8 hours.

WO is typically fasted (only on a pre-wo shake of some bcaa).

During the 8 hours all the food is typically split into three MAJOR meals.

This is an inteligent read from an experienced trainer/dieter/scientist who trialed a bunch of different IF approaches

in a methodical manner you may find useful ...

It's a must read if you are considering Intermittant fasting :)

FutureisNow, thanks for the link! It was a great read filled with examples, things to take into consideration and giving a glimpse of they daily how-to. I think it summarizes the big picture of intermittent fasting quite well.
