Basic rings strength series in a false grip?

When preforming the coach's basic ring strength series should a false grip be maintained throughout the series? I'm currently working on basic series 2, so when you get to the backwards roll to inverted hang and then lower to BL should I try to maintain a false grip? Also should I try to maintain a false grip in the front lever?

Only maintain false grip when you need to get on top of the rings so this could be for muscle up, inverted muscle up, front lever muscle up, and for more advanced holds such as cross, maltese, victorian..
