klops3style
I am interested in hand balancing. I can handstand 1 min and I would like to learn more. My goals are one handstand and press to handstand. For one handstand I do: 10 sec. one handstand at the wall, next I change my hand. For press to handstand I do 3 exercises: headstand straddle leg lifts 10 reps, handstand straddle down against a wall 10 reps, assistance exercises from drillsandskills.comWhat exercises I will have to add? Aushion Chatman
Flexibility in the straddle/pike will help with a straddle/pike press to handstand as well, how is your flexibility?10 reps is a good set, but for me I'd rather work 3x5 or 6 instead. Mixed with your handstand work against the wall.Keep working through the progressions, next would be pike press to headstand against the wall. (I like that you are doing negatives of the next progression as well). You can also play with a handstand version of these with your feet elevated on a box. I think this helps you transition to a press to handstand away from the wall. As you get better lower the elevation of the box.
