Joe Cox
Since my main focus for training is martial arts, I was wondering if there are any exercises to improve strength and mobility in the neck. I have been doing wrestlers bridges (hands supporting, trying to work into hands free). However, I want to make sure I'm training smart. Is there anything I could/should be doing instead? And how often should I train the neck? Based on what I'm seeing from some of the more advanced series (I'm still intro level, but was exploring out of curiosity), I'm assuming no more than once a week should be right. I have been training 3 times a week. Thanks for any advice.

Hi Joe, the neck is very sensitive and we must be extremely careful adding weight to that. generally speaking headstand and variation and headstand reverse leg lift is very good for the neck. Joe Cox
Awesome, thanks! Does one day a week sound about right, or maybe 2-3 times ? Edited October 8, 2020 by Joe Cox
