What do you guys do about the chafing from the rings or bands against your forearms, when doing things like dips?? Perhaps just toughen it out??

Forearm chafing is the result of performing your dips with the rings turned inward (much easier!) rather than the rings turned outward. For correctly executed ring strength elements, when in a straight arm position, the rings should ALWAYS be turned outward. They may of course rotate inward somewhat during the descent to and ascent from bent arm work (i.e. dips, bulgarian dips, HSPU etc.), but the primary focus should always be on keeping the forearms completely clear of the straps.

Aside from preventing the chafing, keeping the forearms clear of the straps helps to develop the support strength necessary to graduate on to more advanced ring strength elements in the future.
