Elevated Bridge Hip Tap Breakthrough

Putting this out there in the event it's helpful to someone else:

I broke through and was finally able to get elevated bridge hip taps this morning after finding them completely impossible for about 4 months. The thing that did it was hand position. In the videos (including the technique and scaling vid), hand position shows fingers pointed straight back toward the wall. I've been dealing with a sore wrist and last week tried rotating my hands so the fingers were facing outwards, similar to what you would do for the pseudo planche push up, rather than straight back. I immediately noticed I felt a lot more stable. This morning I tried the whole set with my hands in this position and was able to get 8 out of 10 hip taps after spending 4 months trying all sorts of tricks to get 1 rep. I'd consider this still a scaled down version, but it's a HUGE step forward from just shifting from side to side, or using some kind of support under the hips.
