Nathan Harrington Posted December 4, 2018 Share Posted December 4, 2018 In looking at professional gymnastics, I have always admired the ease that both men and woman have almost effortlessly getting over the bar. Is there a place to implement the drop kip or glide kip somewhere in the training or would that be a strength skill that would likely be easily obtainable after completing the foundation series? Alessandro Mainente Posted December 4, 2018 Share Posted December 4, 2018 The glide kip is a technical exercise that requires specific strength development, specific technical requirements and mobility range of motion. the technical work is done always when you are fresh. once reached a decent level of basic strength the kip becomes a matter of techincal work.
