Kevin Molloy
Hello a skill im trying to learn is a vault catch on high bar . Unfortunately im having a lot of trouble getting a strong enough uprise to propel me over . Here is a link of me attempting an uprise . Is the reason why im not getting over the bar because my swing isn't big enough or is it my body mechanics ? Thanks
Alessandro Mainente
YOu need to begin the pulling acttion on the bar earlier during the swing. if you wait to much at the point where your body begin to fall down you have no chances to develop this passage. Alessandro Mainente
the exact point where you need to begin the pulling action has nothing to do with the shoulder blade. also in the backward part of the swing where you are trying to catch the bar, the body is always hollowed. The hollowed position has an opposite configuration compared to retraction.
