irongymnast
From Coach's latest WOD:20’ L-sit WalksBwahahaha.. L-sit walks is harder for me than iron cross. Who can do it (and for how long)? Also, AFAIK 20 seconds is 20'' and 20 minutes is 20'. I hope these are not minutes because I'm going to quit, right here right now. Seiji
Haha, it's 20 feet.I can't walk in an l sit... I can walk around in a sort of thump thump tilting manner like a butterfly stretch though LOLIt's funny how I can't walk but I can switch from a straddle L (even one arm) to a low middle split hold or some vsit variation afterwards. irongymnast
Heh I feel stupid now. jasonmstein: What should I practice if I want to get L-sit walks? Practice L-sit? I have a 30+ sec L-sit on the floor and ~1min on pbars. I feel heavy and I can't lift my hand off the floor to do the walks.Seiji: That's a different exercise from what I understand.. and what do you mean by one arm straddle L? :/
Jason Stein
Irongymnast,I have felt similarities between L-sit walks and L-to-V lifts, Ag walks, bucket circles, and though the shoulder prescription is different (active versus loose), hanging p-bar 'walks.' For Maximum Suck you could also try them on your knuckles.best,j
Nick Van Bockxmeer
if you have access to parallel bars (even playground bars are fine)1) walk in support2) walk in tucked support3) walk in L
Seiji
You d a straddle l sit (hands in front of the hips while legs are split) without one hand I'm not talking about the one where one hand is behind you, I mean the one with just one hand touching the ground. Eddie Stelling
HAHAHAHA! I often get told that I look like a dog dragging his butt across the floor trying to wipe off his dingleberry. These things suck really bad! I have been practicing by sliding one foot (alternating right and left) while walking. Or do one set sliding the left and then one set sliding the right. Works pretty well.
