Christopher Hancox
Hi, I was yesterday diagnosed with anterior/posterior gleno-humeral glide as well as excessive range of motion in shoulder flexion (210+deg) by my physio. I have been given some high rep exercises to strengthen external rotators and adductors and told to lay off flexion stretches until the shoulder get stronger. I am happy to follow this but realise the limitations and expectations of a non sports specific physio. Any further advise on this relating to GST would be really helpful. Nick Murray
Go and see Joanne Elphinston. http://www.jemsmovement.com/ She's in your part of the world, she'll sort you out. And she knows Jo Gibson, who's a recognised shoulder specialist. End range stabilisation is what you're after.
