Hi Reilly , the negative should ends in the front support position, also from the side lever angle down to the support you speed increased a lot. the negative should be at least 6-8 seconds to be proficient.
My personal suggestion regards your resting posture, you need to fix you arc in the lower back and the rounded shoulder before they begin to be a problem.

Also how do I fix the arch and rounded shoulders?
THe grip is fine, for your posture check for a PT because you need to understand where tensions are located.
