Anton Karlsson
Hi everyone! I have very poor mobility in my posterior chain. I can't even keep my back flat while sitting on the floor with the legs straight forward. I mostly feel it in my calves and behind my knee when I sit like this (although I know I am very tight in my hamstrings as well). What do you think is the best way to increase this kind of mobility? Since I have not noticed much change with regular stretching. Thanks and best regards Anton
Alessandro Mainente
Hi Anton , a proper dedicated day in the week for the posterior chain, I highly recommend you the Front Split stretch course.
Étienne Lajeunesse
Some daily light calves/hamstring stretch and foam rolling to complement Alex's answer!
George Chung
There’s a yin yoga pose called legs up the wall that is basically the 90 degree sit that you’re struggling with...but with your back on the floor and the legs up the wall. If you’re going to do the yin protocol you would position yourself for a very mild stretch and hold for 6 min. It’s super easy to overstretch your hammies and strain them so don’t overdo it.
