Planche progression form check

Hello guys, how are you? Happy Holidays :D

I want to ask you something about the tuck planche, for a long time I was doing it wrong (without tightening the abs and without paying so much attention to the protraction of scapulae).

Bellow I leave you a video for you can see how I currently have my tuck, my question is that the first seconds of the tuck are fine but the rest is bad, specifically in the lower back and the hip, that I'm not sure what happens and why, maybe weak core? scapulae depression/protraction?

Here is the video:

As you can se, the first 6" of this tuck are fine, but the rest is something happening to my lower back (like hips rotation maybe?) I dont know :(

And this is my planche lean (max lean before lost minimal protraction):

What do you think, weakness of core or could it be something else?

Thanks in advance!

Regards, ;)

I think that you are changing too much the knees position. you should be in a stable and rock solid position.

Yes, I move my knees away from the chest for increase leaning and stay close to advanced tuck.

I recently did a tuck with knees close to chest on this vídeo:

and it's very confortable this position for me but I dont know what is happening me on the other tuck, if it's lack of muscular group or propioception?

Much better here. Your knee position is much more stable.

Hey Vasyl,

Keep focusing on improving your depression, especially in the tuck planche.

Yes, when I try depress while doing planche progression I notice how serratus are activated, but still I need work more on this point

Here my last tuck and planche lean, I have did them after rings training so I was a bit tired
