what do these mean

FL/PE

F1

H1,H2,H3

iM

and more

Hi Alaa,

The first example (FL/PE) is the abbreviation to describe the exercise progression. FL meaning Front lever and PE meaning preparatory element.

F1 stands for Foundation One (the name of the course). Foundation courses are numbered from 1-4

H1-3 stands for Handstand 1, Handstand 2, and Handstand 3. Each course focuses on attaining a specific skill (freestanding handstand, press handstand, and one arm handstand respectively).

iM stands for paired mobility. Each strength exercise PE or SE (specific) will be paired with a mobility exercise. Which should be performed back and forth in succession, without rest, until all sets and reps are completed.

You can find all this information and more in the GB introduction articles: https://my.gymnasticbodies.com/f-notation/

Also accessible from your student dashboard. Just click the fitness tab and find the introduction.
