Jay Stafford 279500
I am having trouble getting any height whatsoever on my running tumbling. My standing tucks and standing fulls are very very high however I can't even get enough height to get anywhere close to a double back. Can someone tell me if it's the fact that different muscles are used in running tumbling vs standing tumbling or that it's probably just a technical problem? Alessandro Mainente
On the standing tumbling the weight it is axial and there is only a conversion to power (orthogonal to the floor) during the vertical jump. On the running tumbling the horizontal speed it is converted into vertical speed, which makes a big difference.
Coach Sommer
Almost certainly poor technical execution. Yours in Fitness, Coach Sommer
Paul Wallbridge
likely you are hitting the floor too vertical, so your speed is being translated horizontally rather than vertically.
