Neal Winkler
How to you all feel that these categories should be demarcated for gymnastics work? There is the Rippetoian (i.e. of Rippetoe) method of time to adaptation. That is, 48-72 hour adaptation = beginner, 5-7 day adaptation=intermediate, multi-week/month adaptation=advanced. If this method were to be useful for gymnastics you would have to use the ability to complete one more rep as an indication that adaptation has occurred since this is the smallest increment of progression for bodyweight work. If this was useful, how do you think it would generally correlate to progressions at different bodyweights?
Neal Winkler
Any links to previous discussion of this?Would you say that finishing the progressions in BtGB is the end of the beginner stage (besides manna and maybe a couple other things)?
