Wesley Manson
Hey everyone. I was curious to what your thoughts are on doing more. Is it always wise to do more exercises with more reps after you are done with the strength exercises you wanted to work on for the day. For example, if you train planche and frontlever with holds of whatever progression, is it always better to continue with front lever raises and planche leans? And perhaps add in some pullups and PPP? Is there a benefit of stopping after you main excerises on certain days for strength gains, or is adding in lower progressions after with more reps always a good idea? Should high rep work only be done once a week, or more? Let me know what you think. Thanks!
Alessandro Mainente
How much depends on too many factors, physical qualities, training exeperience, ability of the body to handle more stress. the more you are trained the more you can do, the less you are trained the better it is to do the correct amount of training. High reps system it is something reserved to people who have already mastered basic strength .
Wesley Manson
And what is this basic strength you are talking about? Achieving straddle planche, front lever, side lever, manna, etc., or not quiet mastered in those skills but who has had worked with GST for couple years is strong and mobile from it? Alessandro Mainente
EXactly what you said, Foudation 1-2-3-4 it is basic strenght nothing more. then you will have the body qualities to train the high reps schema.
