Nicolas Lukas
Hello everyone, I recently started training the front lever and I wonder if it has some carryover to my next goal: the one arm pull up.
Jeffrey Bittner
Hi Nicolas, Training front lever will help you develop the muscles necessary to eventually learn a one arm pull up. The rope climb section of the Foundation series will also help you in this endeavor.
Alessandro Mainente
Specifically talking, the front lever helps only in the beginning part where long head tricep helps to move the upper arm closer to the scapulae after the depression and with the traps/lats depressing the scapulae, but nothing more. rope climbing has generally more effect on the long therm OAP development. one of my client after completing F4 was able to complete an OAP with 7 kg of assistance at 78 BW.
