Alexander Egebak Posted May 15, 2016 Share Posted May 15, 2016 In a back handspring is it required to take off with feet together or is it allowed to bring the feet together after takeoff? I would imagine that taking off with feet wider apart would mean larger recruitment of the hips musculature and therefore increased impulse and increased rotational speed, which makes it easier to get all the way around.
