iron cross

Monkey Athletics

I'v been training for the iron cross for little while now and I'v noticed when I'm 

in the support my hands and elbow pits are turn out but when I start to lower 

my self down thought my hands are turned out my elbow pits are pointing forewords

not up like I think they should be if they where tracking my hands. 

Is this ok, if  not how can I develop the strength to do so?
