Julian Aldag
Your question is not quite clear. Do you mean 'What' muscles are activated? Apart from the usually handstand muscles, the flag and press requires extreme side/oblique strength and flexibility.
Mouclier Victor
thanks you Julian ! sorry for the bad formuled question even if you guessed the meaning is there any lats involvment in this exercise ?
Julian Aldag
Everything is involved! Why do you ask? There are MANY prerequisite steps to master before being able to effectively train the 1 arm press.
Milos Janic
I believe OAHS variations such as flags and so depend a lot on your FLEXIBILITY and TEHNIQUE..Basically, either you are flexible enough to get in that position or you aren't..Strenght is mostly same as regular oahs which should mean if you can hold oahs and own tehnique and flexibility required for flag you shouldn't have problems..Lats of course must be engaged, it all starts from understanding basic handstand which requires hollow position, proper scapular engagement etc.. Cheers, Milos
