Hi everyone !

How's the muscle activation when performing handstand flags an flags presses ?

Your question is not quite clear. Do you mean 'What' muscles are activated?

Apart from the usually handstand muscles, the flag and press requires extreme side/oblique strength and flexibility.

There are MANY prerequisite steps to master before being able to effectively train the 1 arm press.

I believe OAHS variations such as flags and so depend a lot on your FLEXIBILITY and TEHNIQUE..Basically, either you are flexible enough to get in that position or you aren't..Strenght is mostly same as regular oahs which should mean if you can hold oahs and own tehnique and flexibility required for flag you shouldn't have problems..Lats of course must be engaged, it all starts from understanding basic handstand which requires hollow position, proper scapular engagement etc..
