Inverted ab wheel rollouts for handstand press

I came across the idea of doing a bridge with an ab wheel in the hans and then to slowly start straightening the hands,so the shoulders are in the same position as in a handstand pess.It turned out extremely difficult(atleast for me).Do you think this'll have good carryover to handstands and presses?It also works the lower back a lot as the hands begin to distaince from the body.
