Rebelos
For a skill like Planche Lean, with medium volume(4-5 sets). Can I or is it a sure way to injury or progress stall ? Edited September 19, 2015 by Rebelos
Nicholas Sortino
A lot of this depends on your current level of conditioning, recovery, and connective tissue strength. Probably safer on bent arm movements that straight arm. Pay very close attention to your body and if you start feeling that tenderness back off, or hurt yourself. Douglas Wadle
Core work responds well, and is fairly safe to do, to everyday training. Planche responds well, but risks injury.
Toni Laukkavaara
Lets assume you wont get injured, then what probably happens is your body will get used to it, and then in order to get results you need to train MORE than every single day 4-5sets. This will add up quickly. So do the least amount of work needed to progress
Mouclier Victor
progress is grosso modo : stimulus + recovery = compensation you can't skip any factor of the equation
Jon Douglas
To be able to train every day you will not be working at an intensity that stimulates max strength. This kind of thing is fine provided you are conditioned to it already and are certain you aren't cutting into recovery or performance on strength days. Longer sets of lower intensity can do wonders for recovery and consolidation. If you need to ask though, I would say this is not the case.Generally around here we go with less frequent, more intense until foundation level strength is established. Andrew Long
if it is a skill id say yes. if you are straining to maintain the skill because of too high a degree of muscle strain then it isnt a skill it is strength work but if you are just losing balance or something similar then yea go for it every day. skill work done every day shouldnt be strenuous at all it should feel like you are trying to balance on one leg for short periods of time.that isnt tiring at all but if your balance is bad it is still difficult to do.
