Hari Krishnan
Its been done by a person at 1.34 in this video - "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeDZ1um-DU4" . I haven't seen anyone else doing it but it seems like an awesome alternative for the straddle-l to handstand press for those who cannot do straddle-l to the press handstand position due to lack of straddle flexibility. Coach Sommer
Poor progression. I would not recommend it other than as something to play with occasionally. The solution for poor mobility is to increase mobility; not attempt to work around it. Yours in Fitness,Coach Sommer

Notice that the pressing is done from a planche position, not a handstand position. Also that the range of motion is limited, and the curling motion that happens during press handstand is not replicated here.
