Sean Whitley
The coach who takes my adult gym sessions doesn't know how to coach mens equipment so thought I'd try asking here. Does anyone have any advice on how to improve my circles, and the next progressions that will eventually lead to flares? I can consistently do around 5 circles, and my record is 13. Unfortunately only get one opportunity a week to train them. Thanks!
Alessandro Mainente
You need to focus on some thins to improve generally the form:-move the hands faster-take more confidence with the counter-turn movement -improve a lot the shoulders extension (manna work on foundations is wonderful)-lean more on the side. the lifting of the body must be achieved with lean and not with side flexion of the hips. Blairbob
More focus on counterturned hips through the 1/4 circle position. Basically, turn those hips as you start to swing.
Jeffery LaRose
Hoestly i'd say your hand speed can only go as fast as your circles go. Keep your eyes fwd and your center over top of the mushroom and turn over your hips a little more. Speed will come with more practice, there should be a nice sounding rythym to your hands contacting the top of the mushroom. Just my 2 cents
