What the "Brachialis" is used for?

I know that for a good rings progression, you have to have a well trained bracialis for all the straight arm moves. But I can't understand where does it help and how is it trained, while most moves on the rings like Support Hold are with straight arms.

Normaly you can train the bracialis with weights, for example Hammer Curls.

the brachialis is the universal elbows flexor because he is not deactivated with prone or supine grip.

During SARS due to to the orientation of the arms and prone grip it is the predominant tendon which hold the connection between ulna and upper arm. during the cross this tendon is both stretched and under active tension. if it not prepared there is no possibility to hold together the humerus and the ulna.

the green line is the biceps brachii, the red line is the brachialis. first one holds the upper arm and the radius, while the red one the upper arm and the ulna.

Bent arm strength is a way to start but, as every specific movement with specific joints angles, you need to train the body in the same condition as the final skill. this is the purpose of the specific conditioning.
