My son is 6 years old and is on a Gymnastics competitive team at level 4. He started gymnastics 8 or 9 months ago. What do you think of his 1st meet?

Hahah, itty bitties can be some cute sometimes especially when they are so small and the mop haircut. Shows some promise especially with the BL on rings.

Brave lil booger to get up there on HB and throw a BHS on FX. You can definitely see he wants it.

Good luck!

For my little midgets, I generally unfolded a panel mat in half to get them up a little higher.

Bucket circles, ParallelBars circles around a foam block underneath the legs, lots of walking circles and positions.

It's more about attempts and learning the rhythm. Once you figure out the rhythm it all comes into play. Until then, it's just frustrating.
