What is a cross pull?

It's training for cross... depends on what kind of cross pull there's multiple... spotted, blocks, bands, etc.

It has some component of biceps like cross does, but not significantly.

If you don't know what they are you probably shouldn't be using them anyway, especially if you have not properly developed basic strength work such as front lever and back lever.

A cross pull is basically where you go from a cross into support. You can do this a lot of different ways, but it does help a lot in developing the strength to hold a cross. The Most important thing that you need to be careful about when doing a cross pull is where you position your shoulders and how your arms are turned!

Please, explain what do you mean by that, I don't understand what you mean.

Some people when doing cross pulls that are spotted on a block hold the rings too far behind them instead of out to their sides. Where they hold the rings makes it almost look like a back lever and they tend to arch their torso.
