What do you think about him?

He's enormous but doesn't look that strong (in GST terms of strong).

I mean pullups + 32kg (no chin at the bar) that I just saw him doing is.. meh.

His front lever does not have elbows locked, does not do full ROM on several exercises etc.

Also I read on this forum that he tore his bicep with a backlever.. I thought that was pretty crazy.

Alessandro Mainente

He torn his left distal bicep tendon as you said.

Aside his body structure, if the injury it's a sign of his knowledge about good progression, conditioning and programming, well he is not an example to follow.

He appears to be strong, buy effectively his joints are not enough.

Only good thing about Adam Raw is his nutrition.

All levers and pullups with weight he can do is done with bad form.

There nothing strange in that he injure himself, since he is one of sw guys. No pain no gain, they said.

Paf, what is special about his nutrition?

Alex do you know if he has said how much time it took him to recover from the injury?

I agree, SW is unfornately dominated by that "martial arts" mentality

He explains there how he torned his distal bicep tendon : Adam Raw - INJURY_ZRANĚNÍ

The fact that a lot of people who are doing street workout are often injured may be explained by an insufficient joints preparation. For example beginners who want to train for the front lever immediately begin with tuck front lever while there are many steps required before (see Foundation series...).

And this is the same with planche, handstand, back lever etc...

Poor knowledge about requirements for a specific exercise leads to injuries.

3P : progressivity, precision, perspicacity :)
