Weighted single leg work

Recommended Posts

Coach Sommer mentions in a couple of the podcast that he's done that he does single leg weighted work as opposed to working them at the same time. As someone who is transitioning from a weightlifting background into Gymnastic Strength Training™, I'm interested in the merits of this type of training.

Can anyone who's done both types of training for an extended period of time talk about things they noticed from a performance perspective?
