CubsWS
Coach Sommer,I'm interested in learning to do one arm pull ups. What is a good and safe progression one can use to learn to do them? I'm pretty good at regular two arm pull ups. Thanks.
Edward Smith
one arm negatives, lock offs top and bottom and weighted pull ups are all good progressions assuming for the one arm work mainly just the negatives and top lock offs you can do them safely (without risk of jarring your arm). I find that the front lever progressions help a fair bit as well but i doubt even having a full front lever and front lever pull ups would get you to a one-arm pull up (it would help) otherwise most of coach sommer's students would be able to do them
