Edward Smith
which one highlights your abs more? and would it be a good idea (worthwhile or waste of time) to include support leg raises in a routine?
John Sapinoso
i think if you do them correctly, support would be better (on rings im assuming) as it is doubly core intensive.hanging emphasizes the open shoulder angle which isolates abs o it's harder to do incorrectlyfor support you would have to make sure you are isolating abs by using your flexibility to press your legs up completely flat without pushing your hips forward, unless you're going for a manna
Blairbob
Do both. Actually doing a hanging L, you can cheat with the shoulders to close them and hold it. You have to be really hard on yourself not to and just let your shoulders relaxed and not try to lever it out with your head. Support leg lifts on rings suck. Doing leg lift on rings, you have to really watch not using the shoulders if you are trying to focus it as an ab exercise. Skin the cats do recruit the shoulders though.
