i've been unable to progress from headstand to handstand leg raises. i've followed coach's advice on doing them against a wall and no matter how far away my hands are i can't do it any suggestions?

Try them with legs straddled or kick up and do slow negatives. That worked for me as I couldn't do them to begin with.

You can make the headstand LRs harder by placing your head on a stack of books against the wall. Start with one book and work your way up.
