Raul Posted March 1, 2009 Share Posted March 1, 2009 HiI started doing many of the strength exercises from this site at the beginning of the year. I am concentrating on frogs, Front Lever, L Sits, Dips, HSPU etc and showing good progress. I am also doing some leg work such as squats and lunges as I am recovering from a hip operation I had 5 months ago. My main aim in the future is to work on more explosive dynamic exercises such as jumping pilot squats and swinging dips to prepare me for jumping, but am happy for this to come with time. My question is when do you know you are strong enough to move onto these exercises without risking injury? With regards to the hip I am happy as the specialists are confident of a full recovery, but the last thing I want is to move on too quickly.Thanks, Raul.
